Service Management System – CoManage’s CoManage Integrated Service Manager – Brief Article – Product Announcement
CoManage has announced a service management system, the Integrated Service [Manager.sup.TM] (ISM), for discovery, provisioning, service provisioning, fault management and performance monitoring. The architecture includes a customer-information database that links information about network elements, services and customers. ISM features APIs for external OSS integration. The service profiling mechanism permits providers to set different levels of service to configure and meet SLAs. The provider retains control on a per-subscriber basis to configure or block services for virtual access to the network. The system has automated fault and performance monitoring that checks network devices, backbone port utilization and port connections, and can run component-level checks. The ISM is currently available.
