Solidworks Library Contains 3 Million Downloadable Parts, Bellingham, Wash., has enhanced its online SolidWorks parts library to include two new ease-of-use features and more than 500,000 new, native SolidWorks, 3D components. The library is now one of the largest available online, with a total of three million downloadable parts. has also added a keyword search engine for quicker location of components and a browser-based 3D viewer for previewing any one of the millions of 3D parts in real time. The 3D viewer zooms, pans, rotates and gives measurements for a part before downloading. Both features are added to make the parts library easier and faster to use.

Parts content has been expanded to include additional stand-offs, fasteners, spacers, and linear motion assemblies from such manufacturers as Globe Engineering and Thomson Industries. The parts library now offers components from four industry standards and forty-six manufacturer catalogs.
