Isi Expands Its Reaction Center With Inpi’s Rxn Database – sm

The Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) has announced the signing of an agreement with the Institut de la Propriete Industrielle (INPI) to include the Rxn: Core Reactions database as an integrated component of the ISI’s Reaction Center file on the ISI Chemistry Server (sm).

Coverage of the Rxn: Core Reactions database includes approximately 140,000 reactions, and maintains classic reactions from the mid-1800s through the 1980s. This addition brings the total coverage of the Reaction Center to nearly 600,000 novel reactions.

The Rxn: Core Reactions database contains high value data originally compiled by research chemists working at Roussel-Uclaf (now Hoechst-Marion-Roussel) from the scientific literature from 1840 to 1985.
