New mobile Internet application for hotel reservations introduced by Dragon Venture

A new mobile Internet application for hotel reservations has been revealed by Dragon Venture (Pink Sheets:DRGV), a holding company of high-tech companies in China.
According to Dragon the application launched by its subsidiary Shanghai Cnnest Technology Development Company Limited is based on 3G wireless technology. It said tourists will be able to use their mobile phones to access hotel reservation systems to check price and availability for a large percentage of hotels in China. In addition, the application will enable them to use their mobile phone to book a hotel room, with confirmation being sent via a short text message.
Cnnest is set to receive revenues via its services and commissions from people using its mobile booking application.
The application is reported to have been submitted to Tencent Holdings Limited, a Internet and mobile services provider in China, for testing and final approval for use with China Mobile.
