IBM launches new e-mail security service

INTERNET BUSINESS NEWS-(C)1995-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

IT group IBM has announced the release of its E-mail Security Management Services developed with e-mail security company MessageLabs.

IBM claims the service will provide a line of defence against spam and virus threats and offers ‘unique predictive technology’ which tries to predict how particular worms and viruses are likely to mutate and emerge next.

The new service is available worldwide now, reports PC Pro. Pricing details were not available.
