The Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority (FICORA) reportedly announced on Thursday (11 November) a cooperative initiative with broadband Internet access providers to speed up the delivery of new connections to customers.

The cooperation reportedly aims to promote interoperability between broadband accounts by various operators, increase reliability and cut down delivery times.

The initiative also aims to make sure that service operators without their own network are not discriminated against in delivery and repair matters, reported the Finnish news agency STT.
