The Finnish broadcasting company YLE’s public service web pages were reportedly hacked two weeks ago during the Finnish local elections.
Web pages of two candidates from the Finnish National Coalition Party had reportedly been altered with racist and sexist replies to a questionnaire that aimed to give voters information on candidates’ views.
The hacking was discovered just before the election and the bogus answers were removed. The police are currently investigating the suspected crime, reported the Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat.
