The Swedish state-owned pharmacy chain Apoteket’s Internet service has reportedly failed to meet expectations.

Apoteket had reportedly invested millions of crowns in the venture, but only around 100 people purchase products online each month.

The company is hoping that more people will use the service when prescription drugs become available online, but that could be some time since current laws make this service unavailable, reported the online news service of Radio Sweden.
