Datanet offers customer backup service

INTERNET BUSINESS NEWS-(C)1995-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

UK-based business ISP Datanet has announced that it has set up new server back-up options to enable customers to decide what, when and how often their business data is backed-up.

According to the company, Datanet enables those customers who take hosted and co-located servers, to manage back-ups of their data themselves. The customer reportedly controls the back-up process over their Internet connection, but the data itself travels on Datanet’s private network, ensuring security and at the same time providing customer flexibility.

No pricing details were disclosed.
