D-Link launches wireless broadband Internet gateway – Brief Article

Networking solutions manufacturer D-Link has launched its AirPlus product with built-in WLAN access point, 10/100Mb/s switch and print server functions.

The wireless broadband Internet gateway is designed partly for use in office environments and enables employees to share DSL or cable modem Internet connections wirelessly. AirPlus can also be used in public hotspots to add customers that have paid to the wireless network by assigning an IP number to each one and simplifying the logon procedure, according to D-Link.

Pricing starts at GBP145+VAT.
