Communications company BellSouth Corp (NYSE: BLS) has suspended charges associated with back-up dial Internet usage during October, November and December to provide customers affected by recent hurricanes with an alternative Internet access method.
According to the company, BellSouth FastAccess DSL accounts include a back-up BellSouth Dial Internet Service account, which is normally used for customers who are away from their home or business, or in the event of a temporary service interruption.
