Australia, the UK and the US team to fight spam

An agreement has been formed between the UK, the US and Australia that is intended to reduce the level of spam received by Internet users.
The Memorandum of Understanding states that spam threatens the growth of the Internet and action must be taken to ensure the continuing expansion of the information society.
Under the terms of the agreement all three countries will ensure that their enforcement agencies work together to investigate spammers, that they perform joint initiatives to combat spam, international anti-spam solutions will be developed to convict spammers and cross-border enforcement against spammers will take effect.
