Market research and consulting firm Harris Interactive has published a report showing that the majority of Americans would like to be able to contact their doctor online.
In total, 77% of Americans would be interested in asking their doctor medical questions online while 40% said that they would be willing to pay for the service. Similarly, 71% would like to schedule appointments online and to request repeat prescriptions via the Internet. A further 70% want to receive their medical test results online.
