Adknowledge becomes Rackspace’s 4000th European customer

Web hosting services supplier Rackspace Managed Hosting announced on Monday (10 March) Adknowledge, an online behavioural targeting technology company, as its 4000th European customer.

According to the company, Adknowledge selected Rackspace to aid it in the launch of two new products: Taglines and Cubics Social advertising. Taglines inserts behaviourally targeted logos and text links to user generated e-mails, newsletters and news alerts, while Cubics, the social advertising channel of Adknowledge, serves targeted ad inventory across a wide range of social media applications, including Facebook, MySpace and Bebo platforms.

In addition, Rackspace announced on Monday (10 March) two high-level appointments – Florian Schiebl as European business director and Tarquin Bellinger as sales director, to reinforce its European operations. Prior to joining Rackspace, Schiebl was managing director of iPass, while Bellinger’s previous position was at BT.

No financial details were disclosed.
