Have you been looking for a powerful database manager at a pleasing price? If so, File Express 5.1 could end your search.

File Express is functional, not fancy. Its character-based design won’t cause heads to turn, to be sure, but it does turn the process of recording and managing information into a speedy and nearly painless activity. The program’s logical menu structure and clearly written input screens greatly simplify the often confusing process of creating and using a database. Comprehensive, context-sensitive help messages are always a keystroke away.

File Express includes a number of impressive features you might not expect to find in such an inexpensive package. For example, a “sounds like” search operator lets you hunt for information in a database even if you don’t know how to spell it.

Equally impressive are File Express’s reporting capabilities. Printing standard database reports and mailing labels with File Express is a breeze. The program includes a number of preprogrammed templates for common report format-columnar reports, individual records, and so forth. The program’s primitive text editor, which lets you merge information from a File Express database into single-page documents, is an ideal tool for adding a personal touch to otherwise impersonal form letters.

File Express 5.1 provides power, performance, and easy database management at a price that can’t be beat.
