Financial: Wiltek Inc.’s 1998 Third Quarter Revenues Up 25% – Company Financial Information

Wiltek Inc. (NASDAQ-WLTK) Thursday announced that revenues for the third quarter of fiscal 1998 ending July 31, 1998 were $1,892,200, up 25% over revenues during the same period last year which were $1,512,000.

The company realized a net profit of $86,500, or $.02 per share, compared to a net profit of $11,400, or $.00 per share, in the third quarter of 1997.

Wiltek’s revenues for the first nine months of fiscal 1998 were $5,666,300 a 28% increase compared to $4,437,600 during the same period last year. The first nine months of fiscal 1998 produced a net profit of $201,000 or $.05 per share, compared to a net profit of $95,500 or $.03 per share during the same period last year.

Revenue growth during the first nine months of fiscal 1998 is attributed to Wiltek’s consulting engagements which continue to focus on the Microsoft BackOffice architecture and software development.

The company’s profit is also attributed to two recently implemented facsimile services. The Wiltek Inbound Fax service delivers faxes in the form of emails, thereby providing paperless delivery of faxes. The service was designed with both individual remote users and groups of users in mind. The same service with the added feature of Optical Character Reading technology automatically converts documents faxed to a user’s desktop into editable documents that can be word processed. Recipients of an OCR fax can edit, store, and distribute faxed documents.

“In addition to the continued success of our consulting engagements, there has been an extremely positive response to our expanded line of fax services offerings,” said David Teitelman, Wiltek’s president. “We look forward to maintaining the levels of excellence in both consulting and fax services that our clients have come to expect.” About Wiltek
