U S WEST has restructured its national sales force to better address the rapidly growing data requirement needs of its existing and future customers.

The newly organized sales teams — a 10-fold increase in national and existing core channel sales representatives — can design and implement nationwide data networks for any U S WEST customer, according to Susan Parks, VP & General Manager-Business & Government Solutions, the U S WEST division that markets to the company’s large business and government customers.

“Mainstreaming and expanding these teams allows us to build on our position as one of the most aggressive national providers of data-networking solutions,” Parks said. “This increase in team size, coupled with our nationwide Frame Relay networks, means we can meet specialized customer networking needs throughout the United States.”
