MODULAR TEST PLATFORM. The FTB-400 Universal Test System is a tough test platform that streamlines field-based test and measurement operations into a single instrument. The FTB-400 platform comes with a two- or seven-slot configuration. Use the two-slot option for installation and maintenance applications, and the seven-slot option for DWDM testing, PMD characterization and high fiber-count applications. A quick, simple operation allows changing configurations as needed. The splash-knock- and weather-proof platform runs Windows-based ToolBox 6 software, and has a high-resolution 12.1″ TFT screen. FTB-400 test modules include 45 dB long-haul single-mode OTDR, short- and medium-haul single-mode OTDR, multimode OTDR, optical spectrum analyzer, polarization mode dispersion analyzer, multiwavelength meter, power meter and light source, automated bidirectional loss test set, optical return loss test set, visual fault locator, digital talk set, and a 1×12 optical switch.–Exfo
