There’s Some Free Publicity – Industry Trend or Event – Brief Article

It was inevitable. All the animal sex on the Discovery Channel caught the eye of the 20-something rock group, The Bloodhound Gang. The group’s new album features what’s becoming a hit song, “The Bad Touch.”

The chorus, backed by a relentless beat, goes like this: “You and me baby ain’t nothing but mammals, let’s do it like they do on the Discovery Channel.”

And that’s among the cleaner parts of the song. The Bloodhound Gang is definitely for the high-school/college crowd, and will never be confused with the rock poets of today. But the hook’s catchy and they know, like cable networks, sex can sell.
