Stress relief

Older golfers, especially those with back or leg problems, may benefit from narrowing their stance, says Dr. Bill Mallon, an orthopedic surgeon and former tour player. A narrow stance allows you to turn your hips more easily. This will take stress off the lower back and lower extremities while still allowing you to turn your upper body freely.
