Snapping a different kind of hook – golfer’s technique for fly fishing – Brief Article

Tiger Woods

Fly-fishing is like golf in that you have to find a rhythm to increase your chance of success. On my first trip, to Ireland with my good friend Mark O’Meara about four years ago, I had a hard time finding my rhythm, but I managed to land a few browns and rainbows. I’ve been hooked ever since. I love it for many reasons–one is that you can get away and just hang out with friends. My fishing tips? Forget about everything and just enjoy it, be ready to hook a fish on every cast and look out for unexpected visitors like bears, which like fish, too . . . but that’s another story. Tiger Woods
