Hurdzan to receive Rossi Award

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Golf Course Builders Association of America has awarded golf course architect Dr. Michael Hurdzan with its 2002 Don A. Rossi Award.

The Rossi Award is an honor bestowed on individuals who have made significant contributions to the game of golf and its growth, and who have inspired others by their example. In addition to being involved in more than 250 golf course designs, Hurdzan is a past president ofthe American Society of Golf Course Architects and is a lecturer for the Golf Course Superitendents Association of America and the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

The GCBAA will present Hurdzan with the award at its annual awards dinner at the 2002 GCSAA show in Orlando.
