Gelt opens 5th regional office
Gelt Funding Corp., the real estate finance company headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, has opened a fifth regional office.
The new branch, located at Two Executive Boulevard on Route 59 in Rockland County, New York, will be headed by Stanley I. Fogel, formerly chief financial officer and treasurer of The Rieder Group. Alan Sarner, vice president of sales and marketing, made the announcement.
Fogel, a Certified Public Accountant, brings to Gelt eight years of residential and commercial real estate expertise in financial and asset management, investor relations and tax planning. He previously worked at Starwood Corporation and Laventhol & Horwath.
“The real estate market has changed considerably in recent years,” said Fogel, “but there is activity in many markets, and Gelt is in a position to take advantage of opportunities.”
