First Citizens Bank Announces Welcome Home Program
First Citizens Bank will be participating in the Welcome Home Program for affordable housing provided by the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB). In conjunction with the Welcome Home Program, First Citizens Bank will provide up to $2.5 million in first mortgage loans for qualified applicants in Hardin and Bullitt Counties. The FHLB grant will provide up to $5,000 per qualified applicant for closing cost and down payment assistance. The loans must be used for the purchase of a primary residence and all applicants must provide at least $500 towards the closing cost and down payment. First Citizens Bank will provide 30- year fixed rate mortgages, with interest rates below the current market rates to assist qualified applicants in obtaining affordable housing.
Grants issued under the Welcome Home Program and mortgages provided by First Citizens Bank are on a first come, first serve basis.
