New York-based Reliance Group Holdings Inc. has formed a new insurance holding company that will operate Reliance’s surety and fidelity bond business. The new company is called Reliance Surety Group Inc.
In other news at Reliance, the company plans to spin off a new e-commerce company called Point, Click & Bind Inc. Included in this new company will be CyberComp, Reliance’s Internet-based writer of workers’ compensation policies for small companies.
