National Yellow Pages Marketing Programs merges with Wolf Group – National Yellow Pages Marketing Programs Inc. merged with Wolf Group division to form National Yellow Pages Marketing

National Yellow Pages Marketing Programs Inc. (Atlanta) has been acquired by Wolf Group (Toronto) and merged with the company’s Directory Marketing division. The combined company will be named National Yellow Pages Marketing and headquartered in Atlanta. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We continually seek ways to augment and improve our portfolio of marketing capabilities, and this acquisition enables us to dramatically increase our positioning in the directory marketing area,” said Larry Wolf, chairman of Wolf Group. “This is a seamless fit with our growing division, and our clients will benefit significantly from the strength of our combined buying power.”

Jeff Faircloth and his wife Gail founded National Yellow Pages Marketing in 1987. He will become the new entity’s chief executive officer. Betty Brown, president of Wolf Directory Marketing in Cleveland, has been named the chief operating officer.

“Given the huge consolidations in the industry of late, this move gives us the strength to work more effectively with publishers and clients,” said Faircloth. “We’re excited about our association with Wolf and we’re positive that by combining our resources, we will experience great success in the industry.”
