Russian-Japanese IT Conference Held in St. Petersburg

A two-day Russian-Japanese conference, which focused on the development of IT technologies and on the strengthening of IT collaboration between the two countries, was recently held in St. Petersburg.

The event was organized by the Russian Communications Ministry and by the Japanese consortium Nihon Keizai Shimbun Inc, according to Ros Business Consulting.

Attendees of the conference included the Russian Communications and Railroad Ministries, the Russian Energy Ministry and the government staff, the State Duma and the Federation Council, UES, Aeroflot airlines as well as leading Russian IT companies.

Japan representatives included the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Ministry and the Foreign Trade and Industry Ministry, the embassy of Japan in Russia and companies as Mitsui & Co.
