Number of mobile phone users in Algeria to reach 10 million by 2007
The Algerian telecommunication market has witnessed a rapid growth in recent years, the director of Telecom advisory office “Qosmic,” Fateh Ouazzani said Friday during a business conference. According to him, the telecommunication sector in Algeria possesses an optical fibre network of 20,000 kilometres and radio-relay of 25,000 kilometres.
Ouazzani predicted that by by 2007, the number of mobile phone users is expected to reach 10 million.
