Nigeria’s MTS First Wireless Signs Internet Backbone Contract
Nigeria’s pioneer wireless telecoms operator, MTS First Wireless, last week in Lagos entered into a supply and equipment deployment contract worth N3 billion for Internet, VSAT, and Remote Stations equipment for its nationwide integrated voice and data telephony services.
Bacom Communications, which entered the contract agreement with MTS First Wireless, would build the integrated voice and data network capable of supporting up to one million Internet Service users across the country.
Key components of the contract include the provision of VSAT Central Hub and remote stations equipment, which include the installation of Earth Station Antennas with upward and downward converters for E1 interconnectivity. – (World IT Report.com)
