Navision expands activities in Africa and Middle East

Navision, provider of integrated business solutions is strengthening its operations in northern and central Africa as well as in the Middle East with the opening of a new regional company in Casablanca, Morocco.

The new company will be owned by Keith Marikh, former Managing Director of Maersk IT Distribution A/S. Keith Marikh, in his position as General Manager for Navision North CentralAfrica & Middle East, takes over all distribution rights in this area for the integrated business solutions Navision Axapta, Navision Attain and Navision XAL.

The distribution rights will be transferred to Navision North Central Africa & Middle East as of January 1, 2002, and the new office will begin operations the same day.

Navision North Central Africa & Middle East will build upon the existing network of eight Navision Solution Centers with more than 200 successful implementations and more than 5000 active Navision users.

The new office will be servicing and supporting the Navision business in the following countries: Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Niger, Mauritania, Algeria, Libya, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Senegal, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Mali. -(World IT Report)
