India’s Wipro Technologies to support Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
India’s Wipro Technologies, the global IT services division of Wipro Limited, Wednesday announced support for the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team System. Wipro said it “feels confident that this will make designing, developing, and deploying applications a more efficient and predictable process.”
Visual Studio 2005 Team System is an extensible lifecycle tools platform that enables development teams to collaborate more effectively on the delivery of service-oriented solutions. The system will feature improved support for distributed, team-oriented enterprise application development.
“We look forward to delivering greater ROI to our customers through the productivity and rich integration capabilities (with the Microsoft Office System and SQL Server 2005) of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. The enhanced features that excite our developers include project team collaboration, IDE improvements and the introduction of ‘ClickOnce’ technology,” said Gary O’Neal, Strategic Business Unit Head, Global Microsoft Business Unit – Wipro Technologies.
