Love your Mac, but need to use Windows apps? Now you can have a fully functioning PC within your Mac with Connectix Virtual PC software from Connectix. Run Windows, DOS, or Linux software–including business, education, Internet, and home applications–just as you would on a PC. The latest version, 5.0.4, is compatible with Mac OS 9.1 and Mac OS X 10.1.2. Users can easily switch back and forth between the Mac OS and the Virtual PC OS. New features include password protection to make changes to a virtual machine’s settings, to exit full-screen mode, and to create or delete a virtual machine. Also new is Sockets-Based Networking (OS X only), which provides greater functionality for shared networking. With SBSN, users can share the Mac host’s network connection to browse the Web and log on to a Windows domain or server. For more details, visit www.connectix.com.
