Manahan promoted at Mercy Health Partners
Megan M. Manahan has been named vice president of marketing and communications for Mercy Health Partners. In her role, she is responsible for corporate communications, media relations, community relations, marketing, web development, and graphics, printing, and call center services.
Manahan has held several increasingly responsible positions since joining Mercy Health Partners in 198.9, serving most recently as regional director of communications and marketing. Prior to joining Mercy Health Partners, she worked in the corporate and nonprofit sectors in public relations and marketing.
“Megan was instrumental in launching our new ‘Care You Can Believe In’ brand campaign and strengthening our internal and external communications programs,” stated Dennis Sherry, regional vice president business development. “She has established numerous innovative marketing and community relations programs, which support Mercy’s mission of improving the health of our community. Her promotion to vice president reflects her expanding role within Mercy’s senior leadership team in developing communications and marketing initiatives that support Mercy’s strategies.”
She holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in public relations and advertising and a master’s in business administration degree in organizational leadership from the University of Findlay.
Manahan has been involved in many community service organizations and currently serves on the board of the Arts Commission of Greater Toledo, She has received numerous awards for her work including the American Hospital Association’s Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development Touchstone Award for community partnerships and the Society’s Circle of Distinction Award for issues management.
