Minnesota symposium on child development series; v.33
These papers were first presented at the 2002 Minnesota Symposium on Child Psychology, which honored Anne Pick and Herb Pick for their scientific and mentoring contributions to developmental science. The contributors address recent theoretical advances concerning the relation between the development of perception and action and the questions about conceptual development those advances have raised. Individual topics include the benefits and costs of combining information between and within senses; using perceptual representations to guide reaching and looking; and the roles of language and action.
