Kenneth R. Freeston – People – named superintendent of Ridgefield, Conn., school district – Brief Article

A lifelong educator in the Nutmeg State, Ken Freeston has moved into the superintendency of the Ridgefield, Conn., school district. Freeston spent the previous nine years as superintendent of the Easton, Redding and Region 9 schools in Connecticut. Earlier he was assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction in Newtown, Conn., and principal of Amity Regional Junior High School. He holds a doctorate from University of Connecticut.
