Antibiotics for arthritis
Dorothy V. Zimmerman
Regarding the Nov./Dec. article “Tackling Osteoarthritis” (doxycycline for osteoarthritis): I believe Dr. Kenneth Brandt is on the right track with ideas of using antibiotics for arthritis.
My experience with arthritis pain and antibiotics over the years, I feel, makes a direct connection between antibiotics and arthritis pain. My experience with arthritis pain and antibiotics goes back 17 years.
I am elated that someone may finally be recognizing that antibiotics do help arthritis pain. I would truly appreciate being informed of future developments in this research.
Every new issue of The Saturday Evening Post makes me ever more grateful. It was the Post that first tipped me to the information that my problems stemmed from Lyme disease, since not much of Lyme was known in 1987–especially not in California.
Thank you and please keep up the good work.
