Redwood Trust, Baltimore. – nightclub review

Built in 1855, the Redwood Trust is not only one of Baltimore’s hottest nightspots but also doubles as one of the city’s most beloved pieces of architecture, appearing in the National Register of Historic Places. Trust is now also host to former D.C. superclub Buzz after sidling up to fill the void left by the Capitol shenanigans and the closing of the club’s run at Nation last year. And though most New York and L.A. types have trouble even finding Baltimore on a map, the club promoters have had little trouble keeping a steady stream of world-class talent behind the decks – recent personalities of note include Dieselboy, Christopher Lawrence, DJ Dan and many others. Club revelers get the full sonic experience through the club’s main sound system: a Phazon speaker system that is driven by a complement of Crown amplifiers.
