Multivitamin benefit

Adults who took a multivitamin for more than 10 years before joining an American Cancer Society study were about 30 percent less likely to develop colon cancer. The advantage may come from folate and vitamin D, which are both linked to a decreased risk of colon cancer. But researchers stress that exercise and diet may also confer protective effects.
