Regarding the article “Men Know From Homer, Women From Marge” (August 2003), writer Polly Shulman seems to tell this story with much relish–as if she is hitting back at men everywhere by expounding on Homer’s faults (albeit many). How can she compare real life to this cartoon? I have noticed a general feminist bent in this magazine, and I believe you are doing “psychology today” a disservice.
