Art smart – Applause: show ‘n’ tell – Elizabeth Colucci wins Best of Show in her city’s Youth Art Fair – Brief Article
Elizabeth Colucci, a ten-year-old homeschooler from Clayton, OH, won Best of Show for grades 5 through 8 in her city’s annual Youth Art Fair. Students from local schools in the community in grades K-12 submitted over 300 pieces of artwork for the fair. Elisabeth entered a charcoal drawing, which received a second place award in the drawing category, and a watercolor of a house by the water. Her watercolor was selected as the best of show winner for all art mediums. She received a $100 savings bond, medal, and certificate from our area Fine Art Commission.
