Oral technologies – Industry pipeline
Cardinal Health offers oral technologies for various types of drug properties. “Ensolv” technologies provide a formulation solution for new chemical entities as well as help extend life cycles of many marketed products. Two EnSolv technologies are available to modify certain drug crystals by way of solid dispersion using a hot-melt process or aqueous deposition. “EnCirc” is available where uniform pellets with high drug loading are desired. “EnVel” is a system of proprietary taste-making technologies for chewable tablets. “EnGel” is a proprietary technology for soft-chewable, gel-matrix dosage forms.
