Margaret Arons
PEORIA – Margaret A. Arons, 93, of the Lutheran Home died there at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2003.
Born Oct. 5, 1909, in Peoria to William and Anna Sheppherd Condit, she married Robert Arons in 1940 in Davenport, Iowa. He died in 1980 in Peoria.
Surviving is one sister, Ann (and Peter) Yakoff of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers.
A member of Caterpillar Retirees Club, she was a cafeteria supervisor in Building KK at Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria for 38 years.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Waters of Life Chapel at Lutheran Hillside Village, where visitation will be 30 minutes before. The Revs. Paul Park and Terry Cassidy will officiate. Entombment will be in American Mausoleum. Wright & Salmon Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice, St. Ann Church in Peoria or Lutheran Hillside Village.
