Professional headsets from GN netcom – First Look – Product Announcement
GN Netcom has added two new product lines-the GN 2200 Omega headsets and GN 8000 Series amplifiers. The GN 2200 Omega headsets are sleek and lightweight and feature the new flexible DuraFlex II boom that stays in place. They are suited for call centers and general office environments where comfort and durability are essential. Both the monaural and binaural headsets include a noise-canceling microphone and the binaural offers a single-wire design for comfort and convenience. The headsets come standard with both leatherette and foam ear cushions. The new GN 8000-MPA and GN 8050-TCA amplifiers are compatible with all GN Netcom headset brands including ACS, UNEX, and Liberation. Their “intelligent technology” design enables the devices to automatically detect which headset brand is connected. The cord and quick disconnect are available for each brand. With both units, Voice Switching technology helps reduce background noise and Voice Compression technology assures consistent sound volume and protects against sud den loud bursts of noise, thereby promoting a safer work environment for users. The GN 8000 Series is in compliance with FCC, UL, and OSHA requirements. The low-profile, charcoal matte-finished amplifiers have a small footprint (less than 5×3 inches) and come with a new translucent headset stand. An optional on-line indicator is available. The GN 8050-TCA is designed for headset users who connect to both a PC and a telephone and can transition between the two with the flip of a Switch.
