Philippines: Bill would penalize mothers for men’s incest
Mothers of children who have been raped by men or boys in their families who fail to prosecute the rapists would be sent to prison under a bill that has been introduced in the Philippine Congress. Mothers who refuse to prosecute their husbands or other male relatives would face a prison term of 20 to 40 years.
Why not. focus on punishing the father rather than the mother?
