Pakistan: ban on women phone operators

ISLAMABAD-Recently, Pakistani officials banned women phone operators to prevent “immoral . activities.” No specific “immoral activates” were mentioned. The women were forced to quit immediately. Many women were working to support their family members who have no other source of income.
