Will SCO Wring Payments From Microsoft?

eWeek is reporting that The SCO Group — which recently hired high-profile lawyer David Boies to investigate possible infringements of its patents and source code by software vendors and customers — is poised to sue a major, unnamed IT company in the next several days. SCO is looking under every rock, including those in Redmond, for IP licensing revenues. SCO made $10 million in the last quarter alone under its SCOsource licensing initiative.
