Microsoft Partner Programs, People in Flux
Mary Jo Foley
On the heels of the rather sudden departure of Michael Sinneck, Microsoft’s head of worldwide services (whom Microsoft grabbed from IBM Global Services), the Redmond software giant is regrouping rapidly in order to launch its 2004 channel program. In the next week or two, Microsoft will roll out its new program, which is designed to put all of its partners (both its traditional ones, as well as its newer Great Plains and Navision resellers) under the same umbrella. Ziff Davis Channel Zone editor Carol Ellison talks to Richard Flynn, Microsoft’s director of worldwide partner programs, about what Microsoft partners should expect, come January 1.
