Health domain names go on sale
The domain name of flu.com has been sold to a pharmaceutical company focused on disease prevention. The name was one of almost 100 originally owned by Procter & Gamble and listed with GreatDomains.com for sale.
Among consumer-good names that Procter & Gamble acquired and then listed for sale were beautiful.com, scent.com, and thirst.com. The purchaser and the price paid for flu.com were not revealed. But, according to a story on the ePharm5 site, GreatDomains said that it transferred such high-profile domain names as loans.com for $3 million and drugs.com for $823,000.
