South Carolina: Troopers ride school buses to help safety
State troopers will ride school buses with students this school year, watching for what appears to be an increasing number of motorists who drive recklessly.
Troopers also will be in their patrol cars, shadowing buses, to make sure motorists don’t illegally pass buses or cut them off in traffic. And law enforcement will patrol areas around schools where speeding is a problem.
