New York: TASK FORCE UNITS BREAK UP 4 GANGS IN 5 MONTHS

Federal agents and prosecutors led task force operations in New York City that engaged in multiple investigations resulting in the breakup of four violent street gangs over a period of five months.

The investigations led to indictments and arrests of more than 100 alleged members of street gangs with local and national affiliations.

The indictments cited homicide, robbery, aggravated assault, money laundering and drug trafficking among a litany of alleged crimes.
